There are several ways to earn satoPOINTs on satooB. Here is the full toolbox.
At a participating merchant — in store
When you check out at a satooB merchant, present your satooB card on your phone. The cashier scans the QR code (or types a backup code), enters the basket amount, and validates. Cashback lands on your balance in seconds.
You can also play in-store satoQUESTs — the satoPASS (a magic word the cashier validates) or the satoSCAN (a QR check-in at the till).
Online
Some merchants run a Cashback rule on their checkout. Whenever you confirm a payment, their site automatically signals satooB and your reward is held for the merchant's withdrawal window (typically 0 to 14 days, depending on EU consumer-rights rules), then credited.
You can also play online satoQUESTs : satoQUIZ, satoSEARCH, satoVOTE, satoFEEDBACK, satoSUB. Most are free to play and credit on the spot.
In a treasure hunt
Some merchants design satoHUNT campaigns: an online riddle that points to a physical QR code in their shop. You scan the QR with your phone (no app needed) and the reward credits.
At a satoFLASH event
A merchant drops a flash code during a livestream or a story. The code is valid for a short window. Type it into the satoQUEST page on satooB and earn your reward.
What happens with the satoPOINTs
They land on your wallet — the dashboard you see when you log in. From there you can convert them into satoVOUCHERs to use at any participating merchant. See redeeming vouchers.
Tips
- The map at
/dashboard/mapshows participating merchants near you, including which ones are open right now. - Most quests are free to play and unlimited.
- Your satooB card refreshes its QR code automatically. If a cashier reports a scan failure, refresh the page.
