How loyalty rewards work on satooB
From a merchant's campaign to a credit on your balance, in three steps.

A satooB reward is a unit of value (a satoPOINT) credited to a shopper's balance every time the shopper completes an action a merchant designed.
The flow in three steps
- A merchant designs a campaign — typically a satoQUEST or a Cashback rule. The campaign carries a budget, a reward per completion, and a frequency cap to stop a single person from claiming rewards every minute.
- A shopper completes an action — answers a quiz, scans a QR in a shop, presents their satooB card at the till, or finalises an online order. The merchant validates the action either by reading a QR code in the cashier portal, by receiving a webhook, or by accepting an automatic check.
- satoPOINTS land on the shopper's balance — instantly for in-store actions, after a configurable cool-off window for online purchases (so refunds can roll back the reward).
Two reward families
- satoQUESTs — engagement campaigns. Quizzes, treasure hunts, sign-ups, surveys, magic words, in-store QR check-ins. Each one pays a flat amount on completion.
- Cashback — loyalty on transactions. The reward scales with the basket amount, either flat or in tiers. Online via a signed webhook from the merchant's checkout, or in store via the mobile cash register.
What shoppers do with their points
Convert them into discount vouchers — physical (for use at the till) or e-commerce (for use at checkout). Vouchers come in 1 € to 10 € denominations and can be used at any participating merchant. See redeeming vouchers.
